美國(guó)中美研究中心高級(jí)研究員蘇拉布·古普塔(Sourabh Gupta)近日接受中新網(wǎng)專訪時(shí)稱，美中關(guān)系存在“新常態(tài)”，但并不意味著兩國(guó)一定要成為對(duì)手。為美中兩國(guó)構(gòu)建一個(gè)建設(shè)性共存的“新常態(tài)”框架需要極大的努力。古普塔進(jìn)一步指出，作為世界前兩大經(jīng)濟(jì)體，美中兩國(guó)之間面臨著諸如氣候變化等全球性挑戰(zhàn)。因此，兩國(guó)必須通力合作，塑造富有穩(wěn)定性、建設(shè)性和明確性的美中關(guān)系，共同打造美好的未來(lái)。(陳天浩)

　　Sourabh Gupta, senior research fellow at ICAS, noted that there is a “new normal” in U.S.-China relations, but that doesn’t mean that both countries have to be adversaries. He added that there is a huge price to be had to author the framework of this new normal, under which there is constructive and clear-eyed coexistence.

　　Gupta further said that there are also much larger global challenges including climate change the two major powers face. Therefore, the U.S. and China should coordinate, construct a stable and constructive but a clear-eyed relationship, and work together for a better future.
